Education for New Homeowners and First Time Homebuyers
Many homeowners do not understand what they are getting into when they purchase property in a Homeowners Association (HOA). They are unclear on its purpose and limits, the role and duties of the Property Manager and Board of Directors, and the responsibilities and benefits of HOA living.
Up to 90% of homeowners do not read their HOA documents or attend Board meetings. Lack of awareness and understanding creates problems for homeowners, property managers, board members, developers and others who work with and for HOAs. Homeowners need HOA orientation in a format they will use. We believe the DVD, "Understanding Your HOA The Easy Way"©, is a solution.
The DVD is included FREE in the new owner welcome package we currently send new homeowners. There is not any cost to the Association for this service.
