While the U.S. economy has suffered greatly during the Covid-19 pandemic, health experts warn that rushing into opening businesses could trigger another wave of infections that could upend the economy even more.
Even when businesses are able to open, there will still be a large portion of the population who will be cautious about jumping back into venturing out even if they continue to socially distance.
As the above chart shows, movie theaters, bars, and concert venues are at the top of the list of places people will likely avoid for a while.
